Journey to the Promised Land.Voyage of the Bark Azor

Posted by Dwayne K Makala on July 17, 2018 at 2:41pm

The Liberia exodus of 1878 from Charleston SC was one of the biggest events in African American history. It certainly rivaled the Emancipation Proclamation and the ending of slavery.African American in the reconstruction era saw no future in America. So they decided to build a shipping line to transport our people to Africa/Liberia.This book is on Amazon and it is a buried part of our history, that I was honored to bring to life as my first novel.A gift to my people and the world.
