    Greetings. Will be in the Denver area from the 29th till the 1st. If anyone is in town and able to meet, I'd love the opportunity to meet/network and discuss ideals.

    Last night was a very productive and fun night. I met with some of my brothers and sisters from the Denver area to discuss infrastructure solutions for the continent of Africa. One sister was an electrical engineer who enlightened us on the methods to implement an electric system from scratch. In addition, we also discussed entrepreneurship opportunities, smart city concepts, tech hubs in Africa, the projections of where the tech industry is going, the population demographs of Africa, a myriad of topics were discussed. We plan on having future events like this. I see this as the baseline for a real and productive BAIO chapter here in Denver, as two are already potential members. I think they'll ultimately join because of, in the end, the BAIO's goals are in line with their own. Here are some pictures from last night's meetup. We're having one again next month. I will see about getting a few of them to join us on one of our STEM shows, as I think that we all have great ideas. We're looking to start putting these ideas into action, as we are planning a trip to Ghana in the Spring.

    My name is Eric and I live near Denver. I am just starting my career in community health program planning with a focus on reducing health disparities and promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors. I am interested in data collection and analysis and I am doing an internship right now for summer ‘18 on a community voice panel on health & social justice issues.

      Thanks Emile! I work in the non profit space and it’s unfortunate how many youths don’t get into work that have collective power and a guiding mission behind it to help our their own neighborhood or community in one way of another. Appreciate it brother
