  • I can personally attest to what Captain Hitt is saying about the government running the nuclear side of the house for a hydrogen power plant. This provides enhancement for our nuclear capabilities with our Navy and present endless possiblities for research and development. I also like the reduction of CO2 emissions and a lighter costs for power.  My question is , is this investment best for us initially with the current demand unknown? What is our population initially going to be in other words?  and would it be cheaper using some other form of power initially until our population calls or demands for this type of infrastructure which Here http://cleantechnica.com/2009/07/16/firm-to-build-first-utility-sca... a company in a town i am familiar with, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, lol!, spent nearly 220 million to build a hydrogen power plant that would serve 6,000 homes and businesses at 10 mega-wAtts.  For a population in Afrikstan of about say 13,000 is this the best solution we should do with our capital?
